My name is Hanne and I was an au pair in Iceland in 2017-2018.

In November 2017 I boarded the plane to Iceland to live there as an au pair.

I ended up with a wonderful family and enjoyed this adventure immensely. To this day, I meet up with my host family and the other au pairs I met there every year.

 

Unfortunately, I have also seen that things can turn out differently, no good match between family and au pair, no or too little guidance, not enough information,...
